Tough times, troubled teens, poor parents, obtuse officers-
They call this film a teenage angst masterpiece,
Timeless and representative of a generation?
That wasn’t quite my experience!
Trouble identifying with overacted superficial characters,
Trivialities blown out of proportion with preposterous plot twists;
Tragic death of James Dean shouldn’t guarantee accolades!
