[Clue: Unseen threat compels individuals to attempt or commit this act]
Sandra Bullock’s performance is notable though overdone; most impressed by young Blair playing “Girl”;
Unfortunately, the biggest problem is the degree to which suspension of disbelief must be used and the amount of unexplained we are forced to accept,
It- the supposed supernatural monster- is as illogical as it is implausible,
Cinematography is impressive and special and visual effects done well;
Intense confrontations, tense moments, tricky situations, and emotionally heightened interactions successfully keep us entertained.
Development of characters is limited and the plot thin
Ending is predictable and leaves us unsatisfied with more questions than answers.
